LIFTING AND HANDLING EQUIPMENT
Accidents caused by work equipment can lead to significant material and moral damages. Occupational safety has become a critical issue in recent years, and ensuring safer working environments is now a legal obligation for businesses. As a result, the importance of conducting periodic inspections of work equipment has increased substantially.
The “Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment”, issued under the Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety and published in the Official Gazette No. 28628 on 25.04.2013, defines the minimum health and safety requirements that must be met regarding the use of work equipment in workplaces.
Periodic inspection and testing services for equipment such as lifting platforms, suspended access equipment, freight elevators, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) are carried out in accordance with the criteria specified in the following standards:
- TS EN 1808 + A1
- TS EN 1495 + A2
- TS EN 12159
- TS EN 280 + A2
All inspections are performed in line with national and international standards, and detailed control reports are prepared to verify compliance with the relevant legal regulations.
