Working at Height Instructor Training
TRAINING
Legal Basis:
This training is conducted in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety in Construction Works No. 28786, and the Regulation on the Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Workplaces No. 28695.
Learning Outcomes for Participants
After completing the program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the definition and types of working at height and the related environments.
- Recognize height awareness and safety precautions.
- Identify and correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, goggles, safety shoes, and boots.
- Understand the use of work equipment (ladders, scaffolding, cranes, platforms, etc.) and safety devices (harnesses, safety nets, shock absorbers, carabiners, etc.).
- Learn safe access methods, relevant laws and regulations, and proper setup and operation of scaffolding.
- Gain knowledge on guardrails, roof work, facade lifts, and mobile platforms.
- Identify lifting equipment and ladder safety techniques.
- Apply anchoring and marking methods, understand hazard identification and risk control.
- Learn standards of fall protection systems and risk prevention techniques.
- Prepare training programs and materials for working at height courses.
- Implement and evaluate practical safety precautions during training.
- Conduct post-training evaluations, maintain documentation, and issue Participation Certificates.
- Legally provide Working at Height Training in accordance with Law No. 6331 and related regulations.

Training Process
- Participants will sign attendance sheets with their full names and ID numbers.
- The coordinator and instructor will also sign attendance records.
- A pre-test (20 questions) will assess participants’ knowledge levels.
- To pass the final certification exam, a minimum score of 70 out of 100 is required.
- Participants will complete an evaluation form after training.
- Trainers reserve the right to adjust training schedules based on weather, shifts, or participant readiness.
- Certificates will be issued with the University Director’s and Rector’s signatures.
Training Venue and Schedule
- The training will be conducted four days online and one day practical.
- Designed for experienced professionals, the hybrid model aims to minimize time and cost.
- Online materials will be accessible via a personal login password.
- The practical training will start at 09:30 on the mutually agreed date and will be held at the client’s facility.
This program aims to train qualified instructors who can effectively deliver Working at Height Training in compliance with national regulations and GWO standards, ensuring safe, competent, and certified operations in high-risk environments.
